Quinn & Wegener Commit to Franklin Pierce University

Kevin Quinn and Zach Wegener have committed to Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH for the 2008-2009 season. Franklin Pierce University is an NCAA Div. II hockey program and a member of the NE 10 Conference.

Quinn, from West Linn, Oregon, is a 5’ 11”, 200 lb. forward and a 2-year veteran of the Seattle Jr. Totems. Quinn also played two seasons for the Washington Totems of the Pacific International Junior Hockey League. During the 2007-2008 season Quinn scored 23 goal and had 26 assists in 44 games for Seattle. In two seasons with the Seattle Jr. Totems, Quinn’s stats include, 49 goals, 55 assists and 438 PIMs in 82 games.

Zach Wegener is a 5’ 10”, 170 lb. forward from Kirkland, Washington, and a 2- year veteran of the Seattle Jr. Totems. Wegener’s career stats for the Jr. Totems include, 31 goals, 67 assists and 149 PIMs in 81 games. During the 2007-2008 season Wegener contributed 10 goals and 26 assists in 41 games and was one of the top penalty killers for the Jr. Totems.
